The families we support are far from home and worried about their children. By providing a place to stay and support through our additional programs, we help families get through difficult times. But we need your help. Our House hosts families 365 days out of the year.
At this time we are only accepting limited donations to ensure the safety of the families we serve:
- Grocery store gift cards (Walmart, Save Mart, etc.)
- Frozen meals (store-bought only)
- Gas cards for our Travel For Treatment program
- Individually wrapped snacks (store-bought only)

Whether you’re allocating foundation dollars or just have a few pennies to spare, everything helps. Just $10 provides a family with one night at the Reno Ronald McDonald House.
Volunteer
Whether it’s helping in the office, staffing our Family Room, or cooking for the families, we are always in need of more volunteers.

McDonald’s Donation Boxes
Change dropped in McDonald’s canisters in northern Nevada (and some California restaurants) comes directly to the Reno House.
Pantry Drives
Help the families in our House by bringing in items from our Wish List. We need the every day items that every home needs, but in larger quantities. Call the House to schedule an appointment to drop off items and tour the House.
Round-Up for RMHC Northern Nevada at McDonald’s – a new way to give!
McDonald’s wants to make it as easy as possible for you to make a big impact on families by making small donations to Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern Nevada. At participating McDonald’s restaurants, you can Round-Up for RMHCNN when placing your order. This means that if you want to increase your total to the nearest dollar and that change will support a RMHCNN family right here in Northern Nevada! No matter if you pay by cash, credit card or debit card, you can provide a local RMHC family with a home away from home.
