Master Gardeners Help Make Our House A Home

If you’re wondering who’s responsible for the beauty of the exterior of the House, look no further than the University of Nevada, Reno’s (UNR) Master Gardener program. Now that the snow has finally melted, the gardeners got to work cleaning up our flower beds and filling them with lots of new color. They’re also the ones who keep the gardens beautifully maintained throughout the year. We’re so grateful for these amazing volunteers, who have been making our gardens grow for more than three years.

The UNR Master Gardener program is a volunteer educator program designed to teach research-based Nevada gardening practices to volunteers, who in turn share this knowledge with their local communities. Visit their website for more information.

And visit the RMHCNN website if you’re interested in our volunteer opportunities.
